You will need: One medium egg
                         120g softened butter
Step One: Set oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4 and line two baking sheets with baking paper.
Step Two: Using an electric whisk, mix together the egg and butter until blended well. The mix will be a little runny.
Step Three: Tip all the ingredients from the jar and mix with a spoon. You can also mix with your hands to form a soft dough.
Step Four: Make 12 balls with the dough and place spaced apart on the baking trays.
Step Five: Bake for 12 minutes. The cookies will harden as they cool, allow them to cool before eating. Cookies will stay fresh for two days in an airtight container. (If they last that long!)

Gingerbread Cookies

You will need: 100g salted butter

               3 tbsp Golden Syrup

Step One: Heat the butter, syrup and sugar in a small pan until melted. Set aside to cool slightly.

Step Two: Tip the rest of the ingredients from the jar into a large bowl, pour in the buttery syrup mixture and stir, (you might need to use your hands for this bit), until a soft dough is formed.

Step Three: Place the dough on a sheet of baking paper and add another sheet on top. Roll the dough out to thickness of 1/2 cm. Chill in the fridge for one hour.

Step Four: Heat oven to 190c/170c fan/gas 5

Step Five: Cut out shapes using the cutter provided and place on trays around 3cm apart.
